Yogesh Hair Saloon

We are located on Central Bazar Road in the Kasipura area of Bajaj Nagar. It is a busy part of Nagpur with a lot of shops and offices around. My shop is just a small space on the ground floor. I’ve been here for several years now. The chairs are the old leather kind that have some tape over the cracks. They are still very sturdy though. I have a small television in the corner that I usually keep on a news channel, but the volume is always low so people can still talk. There’s a lot of traffic outside on the road, so the sound of horns is just part of the background here. I get a mix of people—some students from the nearby hostels and some older gentlemen who have been living in Bajaj Nagar for decades. I don't have any staff, it’s just me doing everything from cutting hair to sweeping the floor. I use a simple black apron that’s seen a lot of use. My scissors are the most important thing I own, and I keep them in a small leather pouch. It’s not a fancy salon with bright lights. It’s just a place where you can get your hair done and maybe have a short chat about how the city is changing. I keep a few plastic stools outside for when the three chairs inside are full. It is a simple life but it keeps me busy.
