Vedanta Salon

Vedanta Salon is just a regular spot here in Nagpur City. We’ve been at this 440002 address for a while now. Most days start with opening up the shutters and wiping down the mirrors before it gets too hot outside. It’s a basic setup with the usual chairs and tools you’d expect in a local place. People from the neighborhood stop in, some we know by name and others just passing through. We don’t have fancy music or anything, just the radio playing or the sound of the ceiling fan going round and round. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, so folks have to sit on the bench and wait their turn while reading an old newspaper. We keep a stack of those by the door. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always sweeping. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of Nagpur. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a place to sit down, get a trim, and maybe talk about the weather or the local news for a bit. The lighting isn't perfect, but it works fine for what we do. We have some bottles of shampoo on the shelf and a few clean towels ready. It’s mostly just about getting the job done so people can go about their day. That’s how it usually goes from morning until we close up at night.
