Suresh Salon

Suresh Salon is located right here in Mahalgaon, Nagpur. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city center, but we stay busy with the local crowd. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and provide a simple service to the people living around here. There isn't much to say about the decor; it's just a functional space with what we need to cut hair. We have a few chairs and some old magazines for people to look at while they wait. My family helps out sometimes when things get busy. We know most of the families in Mahalgaon by now since they’ve been coming to us for years. It’s funny how you see the kids grow up and then they start bringing their own kids in for their first haircuts. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the standard styles that people ask for. The shop gets a good amount of light during the day, which helps. We try to keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere pretty quick. If you’re around the neighborhood and need a quick trim, you can just walk in. We don't really do appointments much; it's more of a first-come, first-served kind of deal. It’s just how we’ve always done it. We're just regular people doing a regular job, and that seems to suit everyone just fine. We keep the shop open almost every day of the week.
