Soft Bit Computers

We are based in Shankar Nagar, specifically in the Dwarkanath Apartment building on West High Court Road. It’s Plot No. 16. Soft Bit Computers isn't a massive retail store. It’s more of a workshop where we fix things and help people with their tech problems. Being on West High Court Road means there is always something going on outside. The noise from the street is pretty constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a lot of old parts lying around because you never know when someone might need a specific cable or a screw from an old model. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Mostly, we just sit here and work on laptops or help someone set up their internet. It’s quiet work most of the time. We aren't tech geniuses or anything, just people who have spent a lot of time looking at screens and circuit boards. If you come by in the afternoon, there’s usually a pot of tea going. We know most of the people in the building. It’s a nice community. Sometimes the elevators in the apartment act up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. We just take things one day at a time and try to fix what’s broken. We have a small window that lets in some light, but it’s mostly just fluorescent bulbs in here.
