Skin Light The Salon

Out on Manewada Ring Road in Nagpur, things are always moving fast. We are at Plot Number 14, right near the Jaadu Mahal landmark. People use that building to find us all the time. Our salon is a bit different from the tiny barber shops because we try to offer a bit more for the skin too, which is why we picked the name Skin Light. But at the end of the day, we are just a local spot for the people living around Manewada Road. Nagpur is known for being incredibly hot, so we try to keep the shop as cool as we can for anyone walking in from the sun. We have got some mirrors and adjustable chairs that have been with us for years. The neighborhood has grown a lot lately. We see new faces every week, but the regulars are the ones who keep the place alive. They come in for a shave or a haircut and stay to talk about the local news. We keep things pretty straightforward. There are no fancy uniforms here. We wear what is comfortable for a long day of standing. The floor is tiled, making it easier to clean up the hair after a busy Saturday. It is not a huge place, but it is ours and we take care of the folks who trust us with their look.
