Our parlour is a bit different because it is inside an apartment building rather than a street shop. We are at Flat No 105 in Shrikrishna Apartment, which is in the Jaripatka area of Nagpur. It is quite easy to locate once you find Dyananad Park. We are right across from Sadhana Bank, so that is usually what we tell people when they get lost. Being on the first floor makes it a bit quieter than the shops right on the main road. We have set up the flat with all the equipment we need, like the hair wash stations and the facial beds. It feels a bit more private for the ladies who come here. Jaripatka is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of people who just walk over from their homes. We aren't a big commercial chain or anything. It is just a small business run out of a flat. Sometimes the neighbors are out in the hallway, and you can hear the sounds of the apartment life while we work. We have been here in Nagpur for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Dyananad Park is a nice place to look at from the window when things get a bit slow. We just keep our heads down and do our work every day. It is a honest way to make a living and keep the shop running for the community.
