Scholars Convent

We've been over here at 225, Central Bazar in Ramdas Peth for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot in Nagpur, right in the heart of things. Scholars Convent is just a place where we try to get kids through their school days without too much fuss. People around here know the building well. It’s not fancy, but we keep it tidy and the rooms are usually full of noise from the students. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that’s just how life is in this part of town. We have a small staff and we all pretty much do everything ourselves, from answering the phone to making sure the gates are locked at night. The desks have seen better days maybe, but they work fine for the kids to do their writing and math. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor at the market. It’s just a school, really. We open up early, get the classes started, and try to make sure everyone learns what they need to. Nagpur gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here at Ramdas Peth. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing for the local families.
