If you drive out to the MIDC area in Butibori, you’ll find us at P-16. It’s quite far from the main Nagpur city, so the commute can be a bit much for some of the students. Being in an industrial zone means there are factories and big trucks moving around all the time nearby. The college building itself is a solid structure, nothing too flashy, just practical for what we need. We handle business management classes here. On hot days, the air gets really thick and the classrooms can get a bit stuffy, but we just open the windows and keep going. There is a small canteen area where everyone grabs a snack or some tea between the lectures. Most of the people working here have been around for a while, so we know the local shops and the bus timings quite well. It’s not like those big city colleges with massive lawns and fountains. We have a parking lot that gets quite dusty and some corridors that could probably use a fresh coat of paint next summer. Students come here from different parts of the district, and you can hear a mix of languages in the hallway during the breaks. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams happen on time. It’s a busy place but we like the routine of the MIDC life and the people who come here to study.
