Asha Institute

Asha Institute is situated in the 440008 area of Nagpur. If you’ve spent any time in this part of the city, you know it’s a mix of homes and small shops. Our place is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet during the day. We have a few rooms where we hold our sessions. It’s not a large building, just enough space for what we do. I spend a lot of time organizing the books and making sure we have enough chalk or markers. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is just how things are here in Nagpur. We just open the windows and keep going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on what’s happening on the desks. We see a lot of familiar faces coming through the door every week. It’s nice to know the families around here. We don't have any big corporate rules. If a student is late because of the rain or traffic, we understand. We just try to be helpful. The 440008 area has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings going up all the time. But inside Asha Institute, things stay pretty much the same. We have our desks, our books, and our daily schedule. It’s a simple life, but we like it this way. No frills, just a regular local spot. We keep things basic and just focus on the day's work.
