Sayali Beauty Parlor

Sayali Beauty Parlor is a small place I run in the 440008 area of Nagpur. I started it in a spare room of my house first, but then moved to this dedicated space. It’s not on a main road, so it’s a bit quieter than the shops in the big markets. Most of my clients are women from the nearby blocks. We do things like eyebrow threading and simple facials. I don't have a big staff, usually just me and my sister helping out when it gets busy during the wedding season. Nagpur summers are really harsh, so I try to keep the curtains drawn to keep the heat out. The walls are painted a soft pink, which I did myself a few years back. It’s starting to peel a bit near the window, but it still looks okay. I keep a diary to track appointments, though many people just walk in whenever they have free time. We talk about everything while I work—family, cooking, the local news. It feels more like a community gathering spot than a business sometimes. I don't have those expensive machines, just my hands and some basic tools that I keep very clean. It's a humble little shop and I'm proud of how it's stayed open all these years. I hope to keep it going for much longer for the ladies around here.
