Samir Hair Salon

Started this little place, Samir Hair Salon, a while ago now. We are right on Wadi Road, just near the Nagpur University gate. It gets pretty busy around here with all the students and folks heading down Amravati Road. Shop No 1 is where you will find us. It isn't a massive fancy place, just a regular spot where people come to get their hair sorted out. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the work. We've seen a lot of faces come and go over the years. Some students stay for their whole degree and then move on, which is always a bit sad to see. We keep things simple. If you need a haircut or a shave, we just get on with it. The chairs are comfortable enough, and we try to keep the place tidy, though on Saturdays it gets a bit messy with hair everywhere because it is so packed. People mostly know us by word of mouth. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Just show up, wait your turn if there is a queue, and we will take care of you. Being near the university means we hear a lot of interesting stories from the young guys. Nagpur can get really hot in the summer, so the fan is always going full blast in the shop. It is a decent life, working here. We just try to do a solid job every day and go home.
