Sakshi Hair Dresser Salon

Our salon is on Nara Road in the Jaripatka area of Nagpur. We are pretty close to Indora Chowk, which is a landmark most people around here know well. It’s a decent-sized shop, but nothing too fancy. We’ve got the regular barber chairs and the long mirrors on the wall. The shop is named Sakshi Hair Dresser Salon, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while now. Every morning starts with opening the locks and getting the place ready for the day. We sweep out the dust from the street and get our combs and scissors lined up. Jaripatka is a lively neighborhood, so we get all sorts of people walking in. Some are in a big rush and want a quick trim, while others want to sit for a bit and talk while we work. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is just a place where you can get your hair cut without a lot of fuss. The noise of the traffic from Nara Road is always there, but we get used to it. We use the basic stuff—hair clippers, straight razors, and those spray bottles that everyone knows. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. We just hope that if someone likes their haircut, they might tell their neighbor about us. That’s how a small business like ours keeps going in a place like Nagpur. It's just hard work and everyday people.
