SAIMANAS BUILDCON PRIVATE LIMITED operates out of Shop No. G1 in the Jeevan Chaya building. It's part of the Ganeshvatsal Apartment complex. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone coming and going from the building all day. The shop space is small but it fits our desks and the cupboards where we keep all the project files. We are in the 440022 area. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, but we’ve got good lamps on the desks. We handle building and construction stuff, mostly just the day-to-day management side of things. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to laborers. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big staff. It's just a few of us making sure the projects are moving along. The floor is a bit scuffed from people walking in with boots from the sites. We usually have a radio playing low in the background to keep things from being too quiet. People often poke their heads in to ask for directions or to see what we're working on. It’s a very local way of doing business. We keep our schedules in old-fashioned paper diaries because it’s easier than typing everything out. It’s just a regular shop office doing regular work in a regular neighborhood. We like it that way. Most afternoons we just sit and plan for the next day's tasks.
