Our office is at 157, B Wing of Mittal Towers. Being in Nariman Point sounds fancy to people who aren't from around here, but for us, it is just where we go every morning. Mittal Towers has been around for a long time, and you can feel that history in the corridors. It is a busy building with a lot of different people doing a lot of different things. We are just one of the many offices trying to get through the day. The view of the sea is nice if you are in the right spot, but mostly we are looking at our screens or talking on the phone. The traffic getting here can be a real pain, especially when the monsoon hits, but that is part of life in this part of the city. Our space in the B Wing is functional. We have our files organized, or at least we try to, and the atmosphere is generally pretty focused. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We are just a group of people who have been working together in this office for a good stretch of time. The lift is usually crowded, and the chai man knows our order by heart. It is a typical day-to-day existence in one of the city's oldest business hubs, and we are quite comfortable with that reality.
