Our college is tucked away in Saraswati Apartments on Katol Road here in Nagpur. It is a bit of a different setup since the building is shared, but we occupy the second floor at number 204. Most people know the area because it stays busy with traffic heading toward the main market. Even though our name mentions SNDT Mumbai, all the actual daily work and classes happen right here in Nagpur. The girls come in early every morning and the hallways get pretty loud between the lecture times. It is not a massive campus with big gates or fields. Instead, we have these rooms that we have converted into proper learning spaces. Sometimes the lift in the apartment building is a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to get to the office. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we sit together in the small break area. It feels more like a community than a big institution because everyone knows each other by name. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors in the other apartments are used to the constant stream of students. The windows look out over the road and you can always hear the horns and the local vendors. It is just a simple place where we try to keep things organized so the students can focus on their degree work without too much fuss or distraction.
