Roshni Typing & Computer Institute

At Roshni Typing & Computer Institute, we are mostly focused on getting people ready for their exams and jobs. Our place is at Plot No. 16 in Shiwangi Nagar, right on Hudkeshwar Road. You can usually hear the sound of keyboards clicking from the sidewalk. We have a row of computers set up for the students who come in for their typing practice. Most of them are young people from the nearby colonies who want to learn how to use a computer properly. I spend my time showing them how to place their fingers on the keys without looking down. It’s a lot of repetition, but that’s how you get fast. We also handle some basic computer courses. The office is pretty simple, with some chairs and a desk where we do the registrations. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all have to wait a bit, which gives everyone a chance to talk. I try to keep the machines clean because dust gets into the keyboards easily. It’s a busy road outside, so there’s always noise from the traffic, but inside the students are usually pretty quiet and focused. We’ve had a lot of batches pass through here over the years. I just like seeing someone start out slow and then get their speed up by the end of the month. It keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
