Rakesh Salon

Rakesh Salon is found in the MIDC area of Nagpur. Since we are in an industrial zone, most of our customers are the people who work in the nearby factories and offices. It’s a very practical place. You won't find any decorations or soft lighting here. We just have the mirrors, the scissors, and the chairs. The dust from the Nagpur roads and the industrial work is a constant battle, so we are always cleaning. Rakesh started this place to serve the workers who don't have time to go into the main city for a haircut. We open early so people can come in before their morning shift starts. The heat in Nagpur can be really tough, especially in an area like MIDC, so we have a couple of fans going full speed all day. It’s a loud place with the sound of trucks passing by outside. We don't have a big team, just a few of us working together. People come in, get their hair cut or a quick beard trim, and go back to their jobs. There’s no fancy talk or complicated menus. We just do the work and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. It’s a humble shop but it’s been part of this industrial patch for a long time now. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the noise of the machines nearby, but that's just how it is in MIDC. We don't mind the hard work as long as our customers are satisfied.
