Purva Beauty Parlour

I opened Purva Beauty Parlour right here on Khamla Main Road because I’ve lived in this part of Nagpur my whole life. The shop is small but it works for us. Most of the ladies who come in are from the neighborhood, people I see at the market every day. It’s nice having a place where neighbors can just drop in. Khamla gets pretty crowded in the evenings, especially with all the shops nearby, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. I usually have a helper or two depending on the day. We do threading, waxing, and the usual hair stuff. I remember when we first got the sign put up, I was so nervous if anyone would even walk through the door. Now, some days I don't even have time to eat lunch until 4 PM. We don't have any of those fancy reclining chairs you see on TV, just the basic ones that get the job done. Sometimes we run out of magazines and have to borrow some from the shop next door. It’s just a normal local parlour. Nothing too special, but we are here every day except for the occasional holiday. People know they can find me here if they need something done for a wedding or just a regular cleanup. It’s a good little spot. My daughter helps out sometimes on her days off from college too.
