Pranay Salon

Pranay Salon is located out here in the Midc area of Nagpur. Since it is an industrial zone, we get a lot of workers and people who live nearby coming in after their shifts. The place isn't big, but it serves its purpose for the community. We set up here because there was a need for a basic spot to get a haircut or a shave without traveling too far into the city. It’s dusty outside sometimes with all the activity in 440016, but inside we try to keep things calm. We have a couple of chairs and the usual tools of the trade. It’s not a place where you’ll find luxury, but the mirrors are clean and the razors are kept ready. Most of our customers are regulars who work in the factories nearby. They don’t want anything fancy, just a clean look so they can get back to their day. We’ve been operating for some time now and it feels like part of the furniture in this neighborhood. The tea stall nearby usually brings us some chai in the afternoons, which is a nice break. It's a simple life running a salon in an industrial patch. We don't advertise or make a big deal of things. If someone walks in, we help them out. That's the way we've always done it here in Midc. It works for us and it works for the guys who live around here. We just stay focused on the work at hand.
