New Alankar Gents Parlour is situated on Chota Tajbaug Road, specifically in the Ayurvedic Layur area of Nagpur. It is a straightforward shop for men's grooming. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the building itself has seen many years go by. Inside, we have three or four chairs where we do the usual cutting and shaving. The walls are painted a simple color and we have the tools we need laid out on the counters. It is often dusty outside because of the road traffic, but we try to keep the inside clean and comfortable. People usually come in after work, so the evenings are our busiest time. You might hear the sound of the radio or just the clicking of scissors while you wait. We don't use a complicated booking system; people just show up and wait their turn on the bench. It is an honest way to make a living. We see the kids growing up and coming back for their own haircuts as adults. It feels like home here on Chota Tajbaug Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done, day after day. It is a practical shop for the local community.
