Mukund Patanka

Mukund Patanka is the name on the door here in Nagpur 440008. It’s a local place through and through. We don't try to look like a big corporation because we aren't one. It’s just a small group of us working out of this space. We’ve lived in Nagpur for a long time, so we know how the local schools work and what the kids are struggling with. The rooms aren't anything special. Just some tables and chairs and a lot of sunlight when the curtains are open. We spend a lot of time just talking through problems. It’s not always strictly about the syllabus; sometimes we just talk about life in the city. We don't have a marketing budget or a fancy website. If you found us, it was probably because someone told you we were here. We like it that way. It keeps things honest. The 440008 area is our home, and we're just trying to be a useful part of it. There are no scripted greetings or professional uniforms here. We just wear what we’d wear at home and get to work. It’s a quiet life, mostly, but we enjoy the interaction with the students. It keeps things lively in this part of Nagpur. Usually, we're here until late in the evening making sure everyone gets their questions answered before they head home for dinner.
