Mineshkeh Salon

Mineshkeh Salon is over in Khare Town, which is a nice part of Dharampeth in Nagpur. We are specifically located near Crildan Park, so it’s a fairly easy place to find if you are walking around. The atmosphere inside is usually pretty relaxed. We have the usual setup with the chairs and the big mirrors that let us see everything. Nagpur can get really hot, as everyone knows, so the air inside is something we always try to keep comfortable for whoever walks in. We spend our hours standing on our feet, moving from one side to the other. There is a specific rhythm to the day, starting from the morning cleaning until the last person leaves in the evening. We don’t go for any of those modern, fancy decorations you see in the big malls. It is just a practical space where things are kept where they belong. The scissors make a steady clicking sound all day long. Sometimes the park nearby is full of people, and we see them passing by our window. We have been in this spot for a bit, and the regulars know exactly where to find us. We keep the water running, the towels dry, and the combs clean. It is just a regular local business doing what it does without any unnecessary talk. That is the way we like to run things here. We just finish up and go home when the work is done.
