Megha Beauty Parlours

Megha Beauty Parlours is located in the Dharampeth area of Nagpur, right near Teeconi Park. Being so close to the park is nice because it feels a little less congested than some of the other streets around here. The shop is a simple, no-nonsense place where I’ve been working for several years now. It’s not very large, just enough room for the chairs, a washing station, and a small corner for me to keep my supplies. I spend most of my time doing things like cutting hair, applying henna, or doing basic skin treatments for the local women. Many of my customers are people who live in the apartments and houses right around Dharampeth, so we often end up chatting about things happening in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I usually have a radio playing quietly in the background, and the shop stays relatively cool even during the peak of the Nagpur heat. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because I’m constantly cleaning up after haircuts. I don't have a receptionist or anyone like that, so I handle the phone and the walk-ins myself. It’s a modest setup, but it works for me and the people who come here. People know they can just come in, get their work done, and have a bit of a break from their chores. It’s just a regular part of the community here near the park, providing straightforward services to the local ladies.
