Our place is at Plot No. 32 in Dhantoli, right near Spandan Hospital. Being so close to a hospital makes sense for a pharmaceutical company, I guess. It’s a busy neighborhood with people coming and going at all hours. We’ve got a decent sized space here where we manage our daily operations. It’s not one of those glass-fronted offices you see in the movies; it’s more practical with metal shelves and stacks of files. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on stock levels. The street outside can get quite crowded with parked cars and bikes, so getting deliveries in and out takes some coordination. We try to keep things running smoothly, even when the power fluctuates or the heat gets a bit much in the summer. My desk is right by the window, so I watch the traffic while I'm working through the ledger. It’s a honest living and we take it seriously without being too stiff about it. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall owner down the road knows our orders by heart. There’s always a bit of chatter in the office, mostly about the day’s tasks or what’s for lunch. It’s just a local business doing what needs to be done to stay ahead of the paperwork and keep the boxes moving. We don't bother with anything that doesn't help us get the work done before the sun goes down.
