Lazer Hair Saloon

The shop is located on Katol Road in the Gittikhadan area of Nagpur. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We open up in the morning when the sun starts getting hot on the street. Nagpur summers are no joke, so we try to keep the fan running as much as we can inside. There isn’t a lot of space, but we have enough room for the chairs and for people to wait their turn. Most of our regulars are from around Gittikhadan. They stop by after work or on their way to the market. We spend a lot of time just chatting with whoever is in the chair. It’s usually about the traffic on Katol Road or how the local cricket team is doing. The tools we use are basic but they do the job just fine. We have a couple of guys working here who have lived in this part of Nagpur for years. We aren't trying to be like those big malls. We just provide a place for a haircut or a shave without making it a big deal. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so someone is always grabbing the broom to keep things decent. It’s a bit noisy with the vehicles passing by outside, but you get used to it after a while. We keep some old magazines on the table, though most people just look at their phones now while they wait for their turn in the chair.
