Khushboo Beauty Saloon

Khushboo Beauty Saloon is situated over on Ring Road in Trimurti Nagar. If you know Nagpur, you know this part of town gets a lot of traffic. Our shop is right there where people pass by all the time. I started this place because I wanted something of my own close to home. It is a decent size for a saloon. We have the usual stuff, mirrors on the walls and chairs that we’ve had since the beginning. I spend most of my day here. Sometimes my sister helps out when it gets busy. We see a lot of students and people living in the apartments nearby. The 440022 area is quite active, so there’s always something going on outside the window. I keep the towels washed and the scissors sharpened. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, but it’s what I do. I don’t think much about being corporate or anything like that. I just open the door in the morning and wait for the first person to walk in. Usually, it’s someone looking for a quick trim or a shave. We have a radio that plays music in the background, mostly old songs. It makes the time go by faster when it’s quiet. People seem to like the atmosphere because it’s relaxed. We aren't in a hurry and we don't make people feel rushed. It’s just a local business doing its thing on Ring Road and I enjoy the daily work.
