Our college is over on Great Nag Road in the Nandanvan area. Most people in the neighborhood just know us as KDK. It’s an older institution, so the buildings have that lived-in look. We aren’t located in a shiny new business park; we are right there in the thick of the city. The traffic on Great Nag Road can be quite something during peak hours. We focus on engineering, and our labs reflect that with plenty of worn-in benches and equipment. The staff here is a mix of people who have been with us for decades and some newer faces. We don't have a lot of decorative landscaping, just some trees and paved paths between the blocks. Students are always rushing around, especially when the bell rings. The office is often full of paper stacks and people waiting to get things signed. It’s a very practical place to be. We don't spend much on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the classes and making sure the students have what they need for their labs. The Nandanvan area is busy, and we are just another part of that daily bustle. Sometimes the classrooms get a bit warm in the afternoon, but we have fans running. It’s a place with a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk through the hallways. We just keep the doors open and the classes going as they have for years. No big frills, just engineering.
