Jay Shriram Hair Salon

Jay Shriram Hair Salon is based in Nagpur. It’s a small spot, nothing like those big, expensive places you see in the city centers. It’s just a shop where people come to get their hair cut and maybe a shave if they need it. We’ve been here in Nagpur for a long time. The street outside can get a bit dusty and loud with all the rickshaws and traffic going by, but that’s just part of life here. Inside, there are just a few chairs and some mirrors on the walls. We keep the towels clean and make sure the scissors are sharp. It’s a simple routine every day. We open early because some guys like to get their hair done before they head off to work. We don’t have a website or anything fancy. People just know we are here and they stop by. Sometimes there’s a wait, so people sit on the bench and talk about the news or the cricket scores or the weather. It’s a local place through and through. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter for a good haircut. We just focus on the job and making sure the floor is clean at the end of the day. It’s hard work standing all day, but we like the people who come in. Everyone knows everyone else here, which is nice. We will probably be here for a long time yet because this is just what we do.
