Jagat Gents Parlour

You’ll find Jagat Gents Parlour over in the Ganesh Peth area of Nagpur. We’re in shop number 8 at the Rahul Complex, right on Bus Stand Road. Since we’re so close to the S.T. Stand, we get a lot of travelers who’ve just stepped off a bus and need to look a bit more presentable before their next meeting or heading home to see family. It’s a small shop, mostly just for men. We keep it simple with haircuts and shaves. The chairs are the kind that pump up and down, and we have a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel or a cricket match if there’s one playing. It’s a bit noisy outside with the buses and the horns constantly going off, but you get used to it after an hour or two in the shop. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything. You just come in, see if a chair is free, and sit down. If not, there’s a wooden bench against the wall. We use regular soap and blades. Nothing too expensive or complicated. The mirrors are a little old and have some spots on the edges, but they still show you what you need to see. We’ve been part of this little corner of Nagpur for a while now. It’s just us working hard and chatting with the folks who stop by. We aren't trying to be the most famous place, just a reliable one for the neighborhood.
