Gokurna Beauty Parlour

If you are in Ayodhya Nagar in Nagpur, you might have seen Gokurna Beauty Parlour. We are a small local shop that handles beauty work for women in the neighborhood. It is mostly just me and one other girl working here. We do things like eyebrow threading and waxing and hair coloring. The space is small and it is located on a quiet street away from the main traffic. We have tried to make it look nice with some curtains and a few comfortable chairs. It is a place where women can come to relax for an hour and get their hair done. We do not have any fancy machines or expensive treatments. We just use what works and what we have used for years. Most of our customers are housewives from around Ayodhya Nagar who come in during the afternoon when they are finished with their chores. We talk about our kids and what is for dinner while I work on their hair. It is a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Sometimes we run out of certain supplies and have to wait for the delivery but people are patient with us. We keep a ledger where we write down everything. It is an old fashioned way of doing business but it works for us. We are not looking to become a big chain or anything. We just want to keep our regulars happy and keep the shop running smoothly here in Nagpur.
