Gaju Gents Parlour

Gaju Gents Parlour is situated in Shop No.18 on Khamla Road. We are right above the Tirupati Arban Bank and very close to the Isar Petrol Pump here in Nagpur. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it's a good spot once you get here. I’ve been in this shop for a few years now. Khamla Road is always busy, so there’s always something to look at out the window. The parlour is just for men. I keep things very simple. I have two chairs and a bench for waiting. Most of my customers are people who work in the nearby shops or live in the apartments around here. I try to keep the mirrors clear and the capes clean for every person. It’s a small space, so you get to know the customers pretty well. We talk about cricket or the local news while I work. I don't use any fancy apps for booking. You just come in, and if a chair is free, you sit down. If not, you wait a bit. It’s an honest way to make a living. I’ve lived in Nagpur my whole life, so this feels like home. Being near the petrol pump means people often drop in while they’re out running errands. It’s a convenient little place for a shave or a haircut. We’re open most days of the week.
