Gajraj Salon

Gajraj Salon is situated at Plot No 123 on Gali No 1 in Sri Nagar 2. We are off Manewada Road in Nagpur, right behind the Mashan Ghat area. It might sound like a strange landmark but everyone around here knows it. The salon is a small, family-run kind of place. I grew up in this neighborhood and decided to set up shop here. We don't have any big neon signs or anything flashy. It's just a simple room with the equipment we need to do our jobs. We do haircuts for everyone, mostly guys and kids. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind. The chairs are old, but they are solid and get the job done. I usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background. It makes the day go faster. We don't have a fancy booking system, so people just show up and wait their turn on the bench outside or inside. I try to keep the place tidy, but sometimes during the rush, it gets a bit messy. We use simple shampoos and creams that have been around for years. Nothing too experimental. People trust us because we’ve been here and they know we aren't going to overcharge them. It's a humble business and we're happy with that. We just focus on cutting hair right.
