Our place is right on Samta Road in the Jaripatka area of Nagpur. If you look across the street, you can see the Budhyavihar, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. We’ve been here at Friende Stylish Mens Salon for a long time, and the shop has seen a lot of people come and go. It’s a local spot where guys from around the neighborhood stop in. Usually, the mornings are quiet, just the sound of the radio and the scissors clicking. We have the usual setup with the big chairs and the shelves full of powders and creams. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical place to get a haircut. Nagpur gets really hot, so the cooler is always running in the corner, making that humming noise. Sometimes the shop gets crowded on weekends, and people just hang out and talk about whatever is going on in town. We keep things pretty simple here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the regulars and how they like their hair done. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we are always sweeping.
