Flora Beauty Parlour

Flora Beauty Parlour is located in Nagpur, specifically in the Budhwari area on Sawji Lane. We are right behind the TB Hospital, which is the main landmark people use to find us. It’s a quiet enough lane, though the main roads nearby are always humming with traffic activity. The parlour is a small, dedicated space I’ve set up to help the women in this neighborhood. It’s not a big corporate salon; it’s just a room with the necessary chairs, some mirrors, and my collection of lotions and hair products stored on the shelves. I do a lot of basic things like threading, waxing, and simple hair styling. The shop stays quite cool even when it’s hot outside because of how the building is situated in the shade. I’ve spent many years working here and I’ve gotten to know the families around Jagnath Budhwai very well. Often, someone will stop by just to say hello or ask for a quick bit of help with their hair before a family function. It’s a friendly place where things aren't too formal or stiff. I keep a small television in the corner to pass the time when it’s slow, but usually, there is someone coming in or out. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because I’m always cleaning up. It’s a practical, honest little business that fits right into the local rhythm of life here in Nagpur. I like the independence.
