Fabina Beauty Parlour

Fabina Beauty Parlour is over in Dhantoli, right at shop number 65/66. We are very close to Yashwant Stadium and just a short walk from the Durga Mata Mandir. Because of where we are, there’s always something happening outside. On game days at the stadium, it gets really loud and busy, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our shop is a practical place for the women in the neighborhood to get their work done without any fuss. We’ve been here long enough that we’ve seen the temple go through many festivals and crowds. The inside of the parlour is simple with the usual stuff you’d expect to see. We don’t have any of those expensive machines or designer furniture. Just good chairs and the tools we need for the day. Sometimes we have two or three people waiting, and the room gets a bit small, but everyone is usually friendly and chats while they wait. We’ve made a lot of friends in Dhantoli this way. It’s more like a community spot than just a business. We focus on doing our work well and making sure the shop is tidy. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has its quirks, but it’s home to us. We’re just regular folks trying to do a good job in our little corner of Nagpur. The tea from the stall across the street is also quite nice.
