Deepika Beauty Parlour And Jewellery Shop

Our place is right here at Shop No.1 in Bank Colony. If you know Manewada Road, you probably pass us all the time. It is a bit of a small space, but we make it work. We have the beauty parlour side and then the jewellery shop side too. People often come in for one thing and end up looking at the other. It gets quite busy on the weekends especially when there are weddings or festivals happening in Nagpur. The heat can be a lot sometimes, so we keep the fans going all day. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us well. Usually, the morning starts with cleaning up and getting the jewellery cases wiped down. We have some bangles and earrings on display. Then someone might come in for threading or to get their hair done. It is just a normal daily routine for us. We do not have anything too fancy or expensive looking, just regular stuff for regular people. The traffic on Manewada Road is always there, you can hear the horns all day long from inside the shop. Sometimes we just sit and chat with the customers when it is slow. It feels more like a community spot than just a business. We just try to do our work quietly and keep things moving. It is a simple life here in the 440024 area and we just keep the doors open for anyone.
