Darpan Glass & Aluminium

We are over at Shop No. 2 in Laxmi Appartment. It is right on Plot No. 42 along Dattatray Nagar Road. If you know where Mahakalkar Sabhagruha is, we are just across the road from it. The street is always full of motorcycles and people walking to the hall for events. Our shop is small, but we cram a lot of glass and aluminium in there. You can usually find me sitting behind the counter with a bunch of catalogues that have seen better days. The floors are rarely completely clear of little aluminium offcuts. We try to sweep every evening, but as soon as we start a new job in the morning, the mess comes back. It is just how it is when you are cutting frames all day. Darpan Glass & Aluminium isn't some corporate showroom. We have stacks of glass leaning against the walls and the smell of silicone sealant is always around. Sometimes the neighbors from the apartments upstairs come down to talk, so we try to do the loudest cutting at sensible hours. People stop by on their way to the sabhagruha to ask about mirrors or sliding windows. We just give them a price and tell them when it will be finished. There isn't any fancy talk here. We just handle the glass, make sure the aluminium is straight, and hope the traffic on the road isn't too bad when we have to deliver a finished frame.
