Chetan Salon Centre

Our shop, Chetan Salon Centre, is located down on Hingana Road in Nagpur. We are specifically in the Bansi Nagar part of the neighborhood. It is a pretty straightforward place with a front door that stays open to the street most of the time. Nagpur gets very hot in the summer, so we have the fans going full speed to keep the air moving while we work. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. We have the basic barber chairs and a row of glass bottles with different oils and sprays that we use. People from around Hingana Road come in for a quick cut or to get their beard trimmed before they head home. It is not a quiet place because the road outside is always loud with trucks and buses going by 440016. We have a small TV in the corner that usually has the news or a match on, but mostly people just talk to each other. We’ve been here for a good while and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It’s a place for the local men and boys to come and get sorted out without any fuss. We keep our scissors sharp and our towels folded in the corner. That’s pretty much how we spend our days here in the shop.
