Chahat Saloon

Chahat Saloon is out here in Dighori on the Umrer Road. We are specifically located in the Telephone Nagar area of Nagpur. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the city center, but Umrer Road still gets its fair share of traffic throughout the day. The shop is a basic setup. We have the essential tools for hair cutting and grooming. Nothing inside is brand new; the chairs have been broken in over the years, and the mirrors have a few smudges here and there. We open up every day and wait for the locals to drop by. Usually, it's fathers bringing their sons or guys coming in before a wedding or a party. We keep a stack of old newspapers and maybe a couple of magazines for people to look at while they wait. The floor is tile, which makes it easier to sweep up the hair at the end of the day. We don't have any fancy music systems, just the sound of the scissors and the occasional conversation between neighbors. It's a place where you can just sit down and get your hair cut without having to explain much. We know most of the people who come in by name because they've been coming here for years. The shop feels small, but it’s enough for us. It’s a practical place for the people living around Telephone Nagar to get their grooming done without having to travel too far into the main city.
