Blond The Unisex Salon & Academy

Blond The Unisex Salon & Academy is tucked away in Shop No 1 at Shiv Nagar. We are right by Tiranga Chowk in Nagpur, and the Big Cinemas is pretty close by too. Being a unisex place, we get all sorts of people coming in—men, women, kids. It is usually a mix. We also have the academy side of things where we show people how to do hair and stuff. It isn't some high-pressure school; it is more about learning by doing. The shop is often quite loud with the sound of blow dryers and people chatting. It can get pretty cramped when we have students and customers all in at the same time, but we manage. Nagpur summers are no joke, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible for everyone. We aren't really into the fancy salon culture you see on TV. We are just regular people working here. Some days the floors get covered in hair faster than we can sweep it up. We have got regulars from all over Shiv Nagar who stop by. Sometimes they don't even need a haircut, they just pop in to say hello because they are passing by on their way to the cinema. It is a decent community around Tiranga Chowk. We just try to keep things moving and make sure nobody leaves feeling unhappy with their hair. It is a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes.
