This shop is located at number 41 in Guruprasad Nagar, which is in the Dattawadi area along Amravati Road. Nagpur is a big city, but this corner feels like its own little world. I started this place a while back and have been cutting hair here ever since. The building isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and keeps the sun off our heads. I have a row of chairs and a long counter where I keep all my sprays, powders, and different sized combs. It’s usually pretty loud outside with the noise from Amravati Road, so I keep the door shut mostly and run the fans. I get people from all over Dattawadi coming in, some regulars who have been with me for years and some new folks who just moved to Guruprasad Nagar. I’ve noticed that people mostly come in during the early evenings when they’re done with their jobs. I keep a stack of newspapers near the door for anyone waiting. My hands are usually busy from morning until late, and by the end of the night, my back usually aches a little, but that’s just how it goes. I don't use any high-tech gadgets, just my hands and the tools I’ve used for a decade. It’s a practical place for a haircut, and I try to keep it as honest and simple as I can for everyone who visits. It works for me.
