Avaania Construction is basically just a small team of us working out of the ground floor here in Hariram Nagar. Our office is at number 115, right near where Prashant Bhonge is located in Ward No. 12. It is a pretty simple setup. We do not have those big glass windows or fancy reception areas you see in the big cities. Mostly, it is just a couple of rooms with old wooden desks and a lot of maps and plans pinned to the walls. We have been at this spot for some time now, and everyone in the Atpost area knows our faces. Most days, we are out at the sites before the sun gets too hot, checking on the bricklayers and making sure the trucks can actually get into the narrow lanes. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the steps and talk about the next project. It is a busy life, always something breaking or someone needing a signature on a form. We do not do much advertising; people just hear about us through word of mouth from neighbors. My brother helps with the accounts, and we have a few guys who have been with us since we started the business. It is honest work, even if it is tiring. The dust from the road always gets into the office no matter how much we sweep, but we just keep moving forward.
