Akash Gents Parlour

I open the shop at 9 am. The Ayachit Mandir Road gets busy early. Most people are headed to the bus stop. Akash Gents Parlour is just a normal shop in the Mahal area of Nagpur. Being near the bus stop means there is always noise. You hear the buses pulling in and people rushing to catch them. We have been here for a while now. The mirrors have a few spots on the edges, but they work fine. I usually start the day by sweeping the floor and dusting the chairs. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high speed, but it keeps the Nagpur heat away. People from around the Mandir come in often. Sometimes they just want a quick trim or a shave before work. It gets dusty because of the road, so I am always wiping things down. There is no big sign or fancy lights here. Just a simple place for men to get their hair cut. I keep a few old newspapers on the table for when there is a wait. Sometimes the radio is on, playing some old songs. It is just how it is. Nothing special, just the daily routine in Mahal. The address is easy to find if you know the area. Most people just look for the bus stop and then they see us right there on the road. It stays pretty busy on weekends when everyone has a holiday.
