We’ve been running Aargo Exports out of this spot at No. 92 B Kavdi Pirai Street for a good while now. Pallavilai is a decent enough place to work from, even if the street gets a bit narrow when the trucks come through. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a plain place where we keep our files and handle the daily grind. Mostly, we spend our time on the phone or typing away at the old computers we’ve got. It’s a lot of back and forth with the shipping agents and trying to make sure the containers are actually where they say they are. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit around for a bit until it comes back on. It’s not a big corporate setup with fancy suits. It is just a few of us trying to keep the orders moving. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of the paperwork, though the piles on the desk seem to grow faster than we can clear them. There’s always someone coming in or out with a clipboard. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just come in, do the work at Kavdi Pirai Street, and head home when the sun starts to go down. It's a living and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
