Elite Exporters is our business, and you can find us at A-2 Rajapathai Street in Kottar. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now. It’s a decent-sized space that allows us to manage all the different products we send abroad. The building itself is pretty plain, just brick and mortar, which suits us fine. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens rather than sitting in a fancy lobby. Kottar is a busy hub, so there is always something going on outside our door. We started this business because we saw that local products needed a way to get to other markets. It wasn't about a grand vision, just a practical need. Our staff is mostly people from the local community who know their way around the various types of goods we handle. We don’t use polished scripts when we talk to clients; we just say it like it is. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or there’s a hiccup with the paperwork, but we always try to sort it out as fast as we can. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists twice. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on people knowing we are here on Rajapathai Street. It’s a simple life, focused on the daily tasks of an export house. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
