Vedaranyam Neithal Jeevidam 10K Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over here at No. 59, South Street in Vedaranyam. People around here know the area well since it gets quite busy during the day. This group, Vedaranyam Neithal Jeevidam 10K Farmers Producer Company Limited, is basically a whole lot of us local folks trying to figure out how to handle our crops together. Neithal refers to the coastal land, which makes sense because the sea is not far from us. There are a lot of names on our list, thousands of farmers actually, and keeping track of everyone is a big job. We spend most of our time talking about the weather or why the prices are doing what they are doing this month. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a place where we sit down, maybe have some tea, and look at the books. Sometimes the paperwork piles up because there are so many of us involved in the 10K collective. We just wanted a way to get our stuff to the market without having to deal with too many middle people who take a cut of everything. It is hard work and the sun is usually pretty hot out there on the coastal plots. Most days you will find someone or other stopping by the South Street office to ask about seeds or just to see what the news is for the week. We are just local people working.
