Our place is located at No.598, Mariyamman Kovil Street in the village of Vizhunthamavadi. This is in the Kilvelur area of Nagapattinam. Being so close to the coast, we have the smell of the sea in the air all the time. Our office is just a short walk from the temple. We started this export company to help move local products out to different markets. It is not always easy doing international business from a small village, but we manage. We have a small group of local staff who help with everything from packing the boxes to handling the shipping papers. We don't have a grand headquarters. It is more of a practical workspace where we can keep an eye on the quality of everything we send out. The street can get a bit loud when there is a festival at the Mariyamman temple. We are used to the humidity and the salt air that comes with living in Nagapattinam. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of workers. It’s just a few of us trying to run a solid business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to transport drivers. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the cyclone season. We just do our work and hope for the best.
