We are over here at 13 Berhampore Road in Ranaghat. It is a busy spot in the Nadia district. Most days you will find us busy with the brick machines. People call us Pulver Bricks Engineering because we deal with the more technical side of making things. It is not just about digging mud. There is a lot of noise and dust here. The yard gets quite messy when the weather changes. We have been in this part of West Bengal for a while now. Some days are harder than others especially when the rain starts. We try to keep things moving. The road outside is always full of trucks and people heading toward the town center. It is a simple setup really. Just some offices and the workshop area where the engineering happens. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or checking on the kiln output. My tea gets cold while I am talking to the drivers. That is just how it goes here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a place where work gets done. If you walk past the post office and keep going down Berhampore Road you will see our sign. It is a bit faded from the sun. We know the neighbors and they know us. That is the way we like it. Just a local business doing what we do in Ranaghat.
