In Kalyani, L&T is based at B-7/63. Kalyani is a planned town in the Nadia district of West Bengal, so the streets are usually a bit wider and easier to navigate than in Kolkata. Our spot is a simple building in the B-7 sector. It is not a flashy place. We have the usual office things, like desks and some files, and not much else. The pin code is 741235. Life in Nadia has a certain rhythm to it, and we just follow along with that. We aren't big on corporate talk or trying to sound more important than we are. We just open up in the morning and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and the humidity can be a lot, but that is just Bengal. We are just a group of people working together in a quiet neighborhood. People around here know us as the folks in the B-7 block. We don’t have a big sign on the wall or any of that. We just show up and finish the day’s tasks. The town is nice and green, which makes the walk to work better. We have been here for some time now and it feels like the right place for us to be. No fuss, just work. Every day is pretty much the same, and we are quite alright with that. It's a decent place to spend our working hours.
