Macneill Engineering Limited

We are located down Diamond Harbour Road in a place called Konchowki, over in Bishnupur. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like the space we have out here. Engineering is what we do, though we don't always call it that. Mostly, we’re just fixing things and making parts that other people need for their machines. The workshop has been here long enough that the floors are stained and the walls have seen a lot of history. We have a small crew, mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We don't have a big HR department or anyone to tell us what color to paint the doors. We just pick a color and go with it. Life on Diamond Harbour Road moves at its own speed. Sometimes the trucks block the entrance, and we just wait it out with a cup of tea. We don't have a website that looks like a movie. We just have our names on the gate and a phone that rings in the main office. People find us through word of mouth mostly. If we do a good job for one person, their cousin shows up next week. That’s how we’ve kept the doors open all this time. It is simple, steady work. We don't ask for much more than a fair day's pay for a fair day's work.
